I've often wondered why God was verbally quiet and didn't
speak to us with a human voice so we'd have no doubt it was Him...Then I
thought, Him sounding like us would allow us to get common with Him, not chase
Him or get alone with Him so we'd have no other option than to chase HIM. Him
not speaking like us doesn't put Him on the same level with us. You have to get
quiet to hear God..which makes sense. Turn off tvs and cell phones. God
doesn't tell, because when you yell, you're competing against noise. And God
won't compete. Shouldn't have to...
