Nothing in All Creation is Hidden From God’s Sight

Quote From T.D. Jakes

How someone lives their life externally is a reflection of what is happening internally.

God Speaks

God speaks to every one of us; we just have to learn how to listen. I am still learning because I have realized that He speaks to us in various ways. Every individual just has to Identify the one way in which God communicates with him that he understands the most, and develop his hearing ability in that direction.

It may not be very easy to do, but I assure you it is not impossible. We need to pray to Him for the ability to hear Him and understand Him better, and also to understand the things He says to us, as they are usually directions on how to live our lives; what directions to take, what to do in every situation that we face. He is a loving father to all of us, and He desires only the best for all of us. It does not matter whether we are the worst sinners or not, for we are all sinners and have fallen short of His Glory. (Romans 3:23)

Just as God speaks to all of us, He also hears us all when we pray to Him – whether He answers our prayers or not is another topic all together. We can however, develop ourselves spiritually so that God will listen and answer us when we come to Him in prayer. Development, as we know, does not happen overnight, it takes time, consistency, devotion, meditation on His word and perseverance. God is ever willing to forgive us all of our sins and welcome us into His fold, into His bosom, but it is left for us to seek Him and desire to be in His presence, for He has given every one free-will to choose our paths – whether we want to walk the broad road that leads to the devil or the narrow path that leads to God and His heavenly kingdom.

[Matthew 7:13-14 New International Version (NIV) 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.]

We will do well to choose wisely; for what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul. (Mark 8:36)

On Free-Will

Proverbs 16:9

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Joshua 24:15

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

John 7:17

If anyone's will is to do God's will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.

Revelation 3:20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

John 1:12-13

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

Genesis 2:16-17

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

Galatians 5:16-17

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

Mark 8:34

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

“See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way that I am commanding you today, to go after other gods that you have not known.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Isaiah 55:6-7

“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 14:12

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Romans 10:13

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 6:16

Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?

God Speaks to Us

He conversed with Adam in the first garden. He told Noah to build an ark. He spoke to Moses in a burning bush. He promised Abraham a son. Paul heard His voice on the way to Damascus. But does God still speak to us today?

Often when people ask this question, they are talking about an audible voice. And God can do that. He can do anything He wants. He’s God. Why then, can’t I hear God speak to me audibly, someone might ask?

God generally uses the following means to communicate with us.

1. Through His Word in general

2 Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is “God-breathed.” His Word sometimes gives us a warning, a word of encouragement, or a lesson for life. It is written with love as God’s guide for life, “so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:17)
That means God is whispering, and sometimes shouting, all through His Word, giving us instructions and principles for life.

2.  Through His Son, Jesus Christ

The New Testament was the fulfillment of God’s special plan. It’s the gospel: the good news of God’s Heavenly Kingdom. “In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by His Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe” (Hebrews 1:1-2, NIV).

Through the words of Jesus in Scripture, we can “hear” God’s heart and God’s voice – and know what God is truly like. These words were not written for a few select individuals, but for all mankind. (“For God so loved the world”)

3. Through Nature and God’s Creation

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has created. Through the intricate details and magnificent beauty of all that God has made, we can “hear” His voice.

4. Through Other Believers

God may use a friend, a teacher, a parent, or a preacher to convey His message of truth to us. Their words may come as a warning, a blessing, or as a prophetic truth about our lives. Whether we choose to hear it or ignore it depends on us.

Bottom line is that if we are His children, God loves us unconditionally and will spare no expense to show us.

5. Through Music

Perhaps one of the ways I can sense God’s presence the most and “hear” His voice the best is when I am praising Him through music.

Today is a New Day

Today is a new day. A new day to start over. A new day to choose happiness.

In Campinas , Brazil a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: 'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You.' She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here.....It's Already Full '. Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.

Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer) said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written. In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.

Many more important have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of God.

Many have died, but only God appeared again, and is still alive & around.

God said: 'If you are embarrassed about me, I will also be embarrassed about you before my Mercy.
For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels. - Luke 9:26 (NKJV)
